BCFWI Membership Advisory Committee A year in the life of a WI Scrapbook Challenge 1 April 2024 through to 31st March 2025 Back in the 1970’s a similar competition was held in which WIs created a scrapbook showing a year in the life of their WI. Entries varied greatly and provided a good insight into life at the time. These entries are now held in the local archive services. The competition will cover the year from 1st April 2024 through to 31st March 2025. The content of the scrapbook is whatever you want it to be. It can include information on members activities such as holidays, competitions they have entered, crafts they have made or activities of the WI such as outings, community events, members meetings or life in their community. You can be as creative as you want. Submissions should be made via any physical medium no larger than A3. To ensure all submissions can be compared equally the outer cover will not be judged. Digital submissions will not be accepted. One entry per WI. Cost: £5 per WI Closing date for applications: 31st May 2024 Scrapbooks to be submitted to WI House by 30th April 2025.
